CentOSのyumリポジトリについて調べてみたに続いて、Fedoraのyumリポジトリについても調べてみました。意外なことに/etc/yum.repos.d/*の構造とかはちょっと違うみたいです。

リポジトリの種類

Fedora wikiに書いてあったステータスの、frozenの意味するところがよくわからなかったけど、凍結という言葉とリポジトリ名から考えて、リリース時の状態で凍結されたリポジトリの事かなと思っています。CentOSで言うところのbase。なので、fedoraリポジトリだけを有効にすると、リリース直後のバージョンのパッケージが取得出きるんじゃないかと。試して無いけど。

RPM Fusion - RPM Fusion

FedoraはCentOSと違って、新しめのパッケージが数も豊富に揃ってるので、特に何も入れてません。何か必要になったらRPM Fusionくらい入れておけばいいのかなと思ってます。EPELは、Fedora EPELって名前だし、RHELやCentOSでFedoraくらい新しいパッケージを使うためのリポジトリらしいから、Fedoraには不要っぽい。
