New project launched: Serie-Calendar.com

In my limited spare time I created a new 'fun' project; Serie-Calendar.com. A webservice where you can create your own calendar for TV shows / Series. 

I'm a big fan of TV Shows, I like to watch them after a long working day. Currently I'm following Dexter, Leverage, Rookie Blue, Dark Blue, True Blood, Top gear, Wallander and Family Guy. Especially when a new season is starting I might forget the date. That's why I created Serie-Calendar.com. There are a few services that do the same, but I couldn't find the right one. Another reason why I created Serie Calendar is to learn new techniques, playing with new updates of the Frameworks I use and just because of personal interests. I created Serie Calendar with CakePHP 1.3.3, jQuery 1.4.2, and uses the legendary TheTVDB.com and the awesome jQuery plugin 'FullCalendar'. And oh, it's made in HTML5 and CSS3!

It's very simple, you type in some series you like to follow and subscribe to the calendar feed for example in Google Calendar or Outlook. Please give it a try at http://www.serie-calendar.com/
