As this current theme is temporary, here’s my design in progress for this blog. Going for a grunge look with earth colors.

I’ve pulled in a lot of inspiration from sites like Blog.SpoonGraphics with the color scheme and PhillyD.tv where I really liked how they post the most recent tweets below the header (feels like a more natural integration to me).
I’m not completely happy with the sidebar headers yet. I think it might look better with something a bit more textured.
Now I have to spend some time designing out the footer , which is generally where I start to get lazy. Probably going to put a flickr feed in the footer similar to Ali Felski’s Beautiful Site
